About This Project
ETCentric is a collaborative online destination for technology news, trends and opinions as they relate to the entertainment industry, run by the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California. Its readers want depth and speed, so we redeveloped the site with more features and a news layout of dated, bylined articles and topic pages that appeal to visitors on desktop, tablet or mobile phone.
A publication earns loyalty when readers can find the story they came for and join the conversation. Dated articles with bylines and read-more links keep the front page scannable, topic tag pages such as music let readers follow a subject, and an FAQ explains that the site curates news and opinion and serves as a forum where industry insiders discuss new products, trends and innovation in media technology.
