Classic film fans know what they want and hate waiting. Matinee Classics is like Netflix for classic movies, and our design lets visitors watch movies and television shows or listen to radio shows instantly.
About This Project
A library of classic movies, television shows, cartoons, documentaries, vintage commercials and old-time radio is only as good as the path to pressing play. We designed Matinee Classics so a visitor can browse by genre, actor or director, search and start watching or listening at once, and a member login and community area let fans review favorites and trade questions with each other.
Nostalgia is social, so the site gives fans a community area where they ask questions, write reviews and discuss favorites. Television can be browsed by genre, from adventure and cartoons to game shows, sitcoms and westerns, and an FAQ explains watching, purchasing and sharing. Actors and directors have their own pages, so a fan of one star can follow the career.
