Sholem
A community has to feel warm before it asks anyone to join or give. We built the Sholem Community a warm website where program videos, a calendar and a donate button each do their part.
About This Project
The Sholem Community is a secular and progressive Jewish educational, cultural and social institution in West Los Angeles, with a humanistic approach to Jewish learning that embraces diversity and promotes social justice. Families judge a community by how it feels, so the website carries videos from its programs and events, and a prominent donate button and a calendar turn interest into membership and support.
Parents shopping for a secular alternative want to see what a Sunday school, a bar or bat mitzvah program and the holidays actually feel like. Videos show real events, a calendar shows what is coming, and membership, school enrollment and volunteer pages give each interested person a next step. Social links reach the community on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
