A mailing list brings readers back each time she does.

Her blog runs on a content management system she controls, so a new recipe or review goes live without waiting on a developer. Readers join her mailing list and hear about new articles automatically, which turns a one-time visit into a habit. Classes, gift certificates and a cookbook sit alongside, so a reader who loves a recipe can book or buy.
